Good or Best Holy Grail

I am considering getting a holy grail from Last Crusade. I can't afford to pay a fortune, so before I make a WTB thread, I'd like to know what some of the options are.

For example, is there someone who is considered to be like a Grail Jedi, are there any decent low budget replicas, etc. Are dimensions/plans for making one be around?

Thanks.

There are two people out there who in my opinion make the best Grails!!!

1. Restaurajones
2. Bazzanojones

I personally own a Restaurajones Grail and I will never swap it for another one, ever!!!!!

Well I can tell you that one of the best came from Indy Magnoli, however, he no longer offers them but I cannot confirm nor deny the reason as to why :angel

But if you ever see one pop up from someone selling it, go for it! (that's my opinion)

I'm not sure what your budget is, but the best bet would be to track down either a Gobler or Magnoli grail. Both have lineage to original grails, Gobler's being from an "Elsa grail" that she drops and rolls away...

I suggest you take a look at COW. They have all informations you need over there.

I have a grail from alan castillo (he don´t produce them anymore) and one from magnoli (he doesn´t produce them either anymore). they are both nice, but look very different...:confused

when I would buy another one right now, I would go with one from BazzanoJones (wooden grail) or RestauraJones (clay)

but let me say: you get what you paid for :)

Man, I waited a while for registration to open up on COW; I am a bit disheartened by the email requirements. I *only* use gmail, and there wasn't a place to put notes. So we'll see. I have a new Grail Diary that I'm excited about, and hope to find a few things to display with it. :)

go over to the COW and contact "Restaurajones" hands down the BEST grail out there in my opinion.

I love me some pastorjedi grail. It may not be the most accurate but I have one so that makes it my favorite.

I have a BazzanoJones Holy Grail and it is really fantastic and very very accurate. You can see it in my website ;)

I've got to echo this. Most of my collection is made up of pieces from Magnoli from way back when. That grail always takes my breath away, if someone decides to part with theirs, pounce on it!
Not the best picture, but mine can be seen Here on the third shelf down in the case next to Indy.

It would be better if there's pics for these:D
Here's some pics of restaurajones' Perfect Grail.

The grail Knight Painting was done by BazzanoJones, who, as mentioned also makes an awesome Grail.

As far as I know, both of the artists are still actively producing these pieces and the price is way less than they should be charging. So why search any further? You can't top either of these props.

The main difference between them is that BJ's is wood and RJ's is a resin/ceramic composite. I've never handled BJ's, but RJ's has the perfect "heft' to it and due to the ceramic in the mix, it really feels right.

BazzanoJones is a member here but I couldn't find ResauraJones; he is either using a different name or is not a member here. I can contact him if anyone is interested to get his contact info.
