Well I'm still working on Gold Leader but I actually find working on two similar models in tandem is faster than one after the other because you can apply the same knowledge and techniques simultaneously.
I'm going by the Finemolds Y-Wing painting guide in assuming that the MOM Tour Y-Wing is what we'd call "Gold 5"
I've found the reference for MOM Tour Y to be pretty sparse so if anybody could help me on that front it would be welcome!
I started off as usual with planing away the moulded pipes, and then cutting away unnecessary parts on the neck
I then started adding some details here and there. Nothing spectacular, and hard to know what to add with the little reference I have.....I'm just going to freestyle a lot of the details because the main thing which sets it apart is the paint scheme of course
