Going to try to make this snowmobile helmet into a personal project

Wellllllllll this is my first time doing anything but to show you guys an example of what I am attempting (Inspired by power rangers, Kamen Rider) I'm going to try to modify this helmet to look exactly like my character for a short film project i want to attempt - so if anyone has any advice before i get my hands dirty please offer it
