Going rate on real MPP?

Hey!

I have a real MPP that I'm thinking of selling. Have all of the replica MPP's caused the prices to drop on real ones? I've seen this definately happen with the Graflex's.

This one is in awesome shape, and has black sidebars on the clamp. It's perfect for a Vader ESB conversion, but I already have a Vader ESB 'Larbel' that I really like.

Anyone have any idea what these are worth nowadays? I'll post some pics of it as soon as I can. Thanks in advance!

Cheapest MPP I ever saw on E-Bay was $300. I have seen them go as high as $500-$700 depending on condition. A real MPP is still somewhat rare, that and the condition is what drives the price up on those.

I think all the great replicas out there have dropped the value because the demand has been met with a replica supply. Back in the day, those used to be in the thousands. You're best bet is to list it on ebay and make sure its known to the RPF, a focused community who recognizes its true value.

That's more along the lines of what I thought they were worth. I remember when I first joined the RPF back in 99, they were EXTREMELY expensive. Anyway, I get my digi cam back on Sunday and I'll post some shots... that might help to determine the value. Thanks!

Graflex used to go for $500 at one time and now you can find one if you look enough for $100.

I seriously doubt the MPP would fetch more than $400 at the current time.

The last 2 MPP i saw go on eBay were sold for around the £200 mark, these were both in the last 6 months or so and in good unmodded condition.

Dang. Thats a tough break. Its pretty much worthless. Tell you what though... I'll buy it off of you for $40.

I remember how expensive they were, pretty much out of reach of us normal human beings. But only way to find out is put one on ebay.....but like previously mentioned, with MR producing a reblica vader, most wouldprobably be content with just that, unless they really have a need to have a real one in their collection.
