Godzilla and Baby Godzilla

Hi everybody.

A couple years ago I made these 2 costumes for a customer and his son.( I make costumes for commissions for a living. I got on here for motivation to make things for myself, but I am always busy with orders for other people....so I'm going just to post photos of my past work . )

Anyway, I will add more in progress images over the next few days.

At the time, it was my first time working with foam on this scale size. There are so many things I would do differently now, if I had the chance to make it again.

I was inspired more by the older versions of Godzilla.

Also, there is a FANTASTIC website dedicated to Godzilla fans building costumes. It gives you a ton of info: Anna G Costumes – Becoming Godzilla

Amazing work on both of them. As a fan of Godzilla, mainly the older one, and it is a thrill to see rubber suits other than the ones from the movies.
