No, because the original Godfather novelization pretty much included ALL of the early Vito stuff, and only DIDN'T include the Nevada/Cuba stuff.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who's read the book.. hehe.

To those that haven't, the original novel contained everything that was in the first film, along with all of the Vito-centric elements from the second film. So we've already seen how Vito rose to where he was when we first met him. I don't see what this novel has to do with anything, and I doubt it will be anything at all like the original.

I read the book, and really enjoyed it, but to be honest I've seen the movies so many times I can't remember what was in which.

lol. I was never into anything but scifi and comedies for the most part. I think the last time i saw a drama was Payback with Mel Gibson.
