Hi folks, I was recently commissioned to build the golden fleece from god of war for a friend of mine.

After doing some research, I found a lot of Kratos costumes but almost none that had the fleece so I figured i was on my own I considered using eva foam but I wanted something that felt more solid so after researching materials I discovered thermo plastic. i went back and forth between wonderflex and worbla but eventually settled on worbla and decided i would try wonderflex next time. and thus blueprints began.

at first i free handed a drawing of the first piece to get an idea for size. of course since i free handed it it was far from symmetrical.

I then cut it out and cut it in half.

i could then trace out both sides onto a new piece of paper and have symmetrical templates. I decided one was to thin and went with the other.

I then did the same with the large piece and also created a third template by adjusting the straightness of the edges on one of the templates.

then decided on the most accurate pieces these look pretty much bang on. then they were traced onto foam and cut out then cut out of worbla and put together. currently i am working on the larger piece it still needs a little bit more shaping but I hope to finish both these pieces by the end of the weekend.

Thanks for looking.
