Gluing soles problem

I got the new asm2 zentai from zentai zone. The puffy painting was going great. I decided to glue the water soles on. I put the insole into the suit and glued, I also wore thicker boot socks to give more shape. I wound up having a gape by the toes and very quite noticeable. When using just the soles would it have been better to get a size smaller? I'm thinking I screwed this suit up. I won't puff paint another thing until this shoe thing is fixed. I used shoe goo and that stuff is too gooey. I wish it came out in small streams

Did you try out the sole on the suit before you glued it to see how it would fit?

I'm curious to know if it seemed fit then but the glue made it stick differently

Yeah. There was some gaps beforehand but I thought I could tighten them. When wearing shoes we always leave space for toes to move around that's why I got in my size. I'm trying to stretch the toe fabric and pin/ glue. Maybe I can fill in the toe gaps with something and paint it to look like its meant to be like that

Maybe if the front toe and heel gaps don't glue I could put some modeling clay in it. It would change the look but anything is worth a try.

hey there

i am totally new here but saw your problem

i has similar problem if used shoe goo use heat gun on low to medium slowly and gradually to heat glue and soften to full apart and reset reglue.

personal note: if ever making frames out of craft foam never leave the unfinished frames near where your spray painting anything the fumes ate my custom magnetic lenses i made.:(
