Hello fan of Gladiator!

I started five months ago the making of armor that wore Maximus (Russell Crowe) in the excellent film Gladiator and It’s the Tigris version.

I use the eva foam for the armor and I use the resin for the ornements and the shoulder protector.

And I use a lot of dust to give it authenticity.

My armor is not finish but you can see the evolution of my work.

Thanks for looking!

That looks really nice! I tried a similar piece (generic Roman officer) a few years ago, but couldn't avoid the diamond plate texture slightly showing through on the front side. Yours looks very close to the screen version. I wish I could sculpt like that!

Thanks my friends for your good words about my work and armor. I don't have a lot of talent but I'm very patient and obsessive! Lol!

Love it, great job with the sculpting and molds. The paint job and weathering brings it all together beautifully.

Thanks guys !

I make this prototype in eva foam and after, I will start another with a true leather for a ultimate Maximus Armor.
