Gino of EFX Interview from Comic Con 2011

Don't really keep up with the Vader details but it's nice to see these kind of highly accurate props being made available to the public.

Great seeing you Gino. You seem shady online - sorry.

I think the camera works for you.

Glad you are helping EFX. I can't frickin wait to buy that Stormtrooper helmet.

Great interview SWC. You really should send a reel to the networks as your a natural and well done to gino for getting a dream job.

My instinct was right. Now I know why I never got into a C scar argument with Gino :lol

With an Italian name to go with it, he reminds of an Italian advert for a product called mastro-lindo.

Super great interview :) !

Nice interview.

You looked a bit nervous at the start but once you got into your stride it was all good stuff.

Looking forward to a ATAT helmet, TIE helmet, ROTJ trooper helmet, ESB Vader, Royal guard, biker scout etc etc etc from eFX :)

The Hero trooper looked great.

Awesome interview...great info! The helmets are just to die for...and when I close my eyes I can still see them all, beautifully displayed...one by one...:lol...really nice work guys!

Always a pleasure seeing SWC.......and sure, seeing Gino sweat a little is always fun too.:angel

The interview ist nicely done. And very good that finally you can see the face behind the infamous posts. I´m looking forward seeing what EFX is bringing in the future.
Congrats on what you archived, Gino.

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words.
Comic con was...interesting. Lots of hotties running around.
Met a lot of super cool new people including some of whom I had known but never met in person.
There were definitely some there who I wanted to meet that I didn't get to, and some who I wish I had been able to spend more time with.
But hey, C6 and CC '12 aren't that far away right?

Art is right, when it comes to talking about props, I can talk endlessly.
Anyone who knows me knows I have a special relationship with my phone.
But put a camera on me and all of a sudden the conversation doesn't feel natural, but rather more forced (will definitely work on that).

I can't tell you how many people said I looked totally different in person vs their perceived image of me online. That always blows me away.
Clayster said he envisioned an old wizard-like person with a long pointy beard. :lol

As far as EFX goes, Bryan is the man and I'm thankful that he puts up with me on a daily basis. In the end it's all about making these pieces as accurate as possible (all factors considered) and into the hands of those who truly appreciate them - I'm looking at you RPF!

There are some fantastic things lined up and I know you will love them all.
Seriously, start saving now.
Not kidding.
You are going to want everything.
