OK, I got down my IDW reprints...the Baroness shoots him in 47 (what a great issue!), in issue 50 when he revives, he seems to indicate that he was dead (and he gets other warriors' memories, but then two pages later he's normal, and a cool character opportunity was wasted
). But nowhere in that issue does he talk about being in a trance or not being literally resurrected.EDIT: Yup, issue 52, he explains he went into a trance. Good memory!
Yeah I read those books silly when I was a kid, so all that trivia is just stuck in my head whether I want to remember it or not. How awesome was it that he takes off with the Dreadnoks for a little bit? LOL
Anyway, sorry for the hijack. I'm just really looking forward to this movie now. I never would've guessed the sequel would seem to be any better than the crappy first one.

The trailer looks pretty awesome. Lots of good ol' Cobra vehicles. Is this supposed to be similar to the GI Joe cartoon that is running? Where the Joes are on the run?
I always get nervous when I see The Rock on screen. You are guaranteed one wrestling move and a lift of the eyebrow. He's too much of an entertainer to be taken seriously. I took him seriously in his role in Be Cool. The rest was a joke.

I still lol a bit at the fact that the first movie was parodied by Team America already before it was made in the first place. Ans sinking ice...come on....There were some good things about it though, nah, who am I kidding. Well, some decent chicks maybe.
The sequel can't possibly be worse, so I guess I'll watch it

FIXED FOR EPIC WIN!!! I own the first film on DVD just so I can watch Snake Eyes kick posterior left, right, center, above, below, slightly to the left and, when you least expect it, everywhere else. As long as Ray Park is dressed up as Snake Eyes and doing his usual on screen awesome they can have my $10 and I'll be grateful.

I'll just have to look at this in the same light as I do Phantom Menace: any scene in PM that did not involve Darth Maul does not exist and for GIJ2 any scene that does not involve Snake Eyes kicking butt does not exist.
