Man I loved Captain Scarlet, they used to play it early mornings on the SciFi channel.

So sad - the loss of a great pioneer. It's one thing to create a number of enduring characters and shows - but to show them in a different way than anyone else and succeed - he was a genius as far as I'm concerned. The greatest Brit who ever lived (next to Joe Elliott of course).

Captain Scarlet was such an amazing visual treat for a kid's eyes. I was under age 5 when I first saw it and it blew my young mind. Also had a crush on Destiny Angel.
