Hi all,
I've been asked to create silicone arms for a double amputee. As they cannot afford the full cost I thought I would see if anybody here might be in need of some hands and/or arms for their displays in order to make this possible.
I will be moulding my own arms as I am of a similar build. I am 35 with a moderate build so these hands will work with most male figures.
Each hand will be foam filled with some sort of attachment built in and will cost £60 for one, or £100 for a pair. I would have to think more about the cost of arms if anyone needed the full length as this would require armature etc. I am making the clients prosthetics with loose joints in the elbow and wrist, but it may be possible to create posable arms also...
I think that I will only have a short window within which to do these as I'll be moving on to other projects shortly.
Pending enough interest, I will go ahead with the project and show the finished result here in a few weeks time for everyone to see.
