I just received a full TDK suit from GCFX. It looks great, and everything fits well but there's one thing I'm not too fond about it: the residue from the fabric spray on the entire suit. The glitter-like residue doesn't seem to make the suit appealingly dark as it should especially from pictures. I was told the fabric spray was used to make the suit more movie accurate because, as it appears on the film, the under suit looks more like "chain mail". Though I can imagine how the fabric spray can accomplish this look well if used correctly and evenly, it doesn't seem like the spray was used evenly on the suit as you can see from the pictures below. Needless to say the residue seems to stick on everything, and that's annoying. The entire suit was constructed impressively well, and I'd consider it perfect had it not been for the fabric spray.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remove it? Obviously I can't machine wash it; the only thing I can think of is hand washing it off then hang drying the entire suit. Any help would be great!
