A month ago, GBrittelleJR and myself made a deal for his DL44 Blaster he had listed for sale. We agreed on a $400 money order + one of my Indiana Jones 8 foot 12 plait bullwhips. He has not responded to any of my PM's in a month, yet he logs on to the forum once or twice per week. In his last message to me, he claimed "A money order works out better for me thanks a lot you're really helping me out". I'm sure it did you low life. He received my Money Order and my whip on September 7th. He ignores my messages and I have not received the blaster. The shipping address he gave me to send the whip and money order was:

Do not deal with this person. I have messaged the webmaster to ban him. He stole my money and my whip and because of this I won't be able to purchase a blaster for a while.

Contact his local police dept and inform them he has stolen you stuff. Not sure they will give a crap but maybe. At least they will be aware by name that he is a theif.

Red Four standing by! LOL! (get it?) That would be great. Unfortunately, the local police wouldn't bother, I'm sure. I posted here just to inform everyone. Apparently he's done this on LOH too. @ MovieFreak, it was me who requested to send the money order. I just set up a new bank account recently at the time, I didn't want to wait forever and a day just to get the account hooked up, I guess you can say its my own fault.

If people ask to pay as a gift via paypal, I usually just calculate what the fees will be to them at 3% and send them the money plus the 3% so that I feel comfortable and they get the full amount they asked. I am willing to pay extra for my assurance. Sometimes though, if they are a known amazing prop person on here I take their reputation into account and just send it as a gift...

Agree with all the above , but I wonder when the rpf will implement some kind of pint score or feedback system for trades and deals.
Even rating us, as I said on the other thread , these crooks are ruining it for the good guys.
I doubt he will post again here but you can monitor his logins.

Lost health
Lost money
Lost job
Lost wife
Lost relative or friend
Lost his life!!

You have his name and his address if this hobby means anything to him you will be able to find him and follow him on every forum.
He won't be able to deal with anyone!
Sooner or later it catches up to them.
Make sure his name is clearly stated here , maybe put it up as a sticky of non banned members "wanted list"!!

To the RPF staff, please make a sticky of not only banned members but also offenders with outstanding deliveries , bad deals and debts, so everyone can monitor.
A list can be updated frequently until all dealings are resolved .
This would be helpful as it also seems to be occurring very often.

Some can elaborate more with ideas but a list of just banned people doesn't get anyone's money or items back.

As far as a list of members who have outstanding orders it will not happen.

That idea has been brought up many times.

An, good old EDC Studios. He still owes me a part he never delivered on. He promised, promised again, but never delivered. Worst thing is, it was a tiny nothing part that could have gone in a regular envelope with just a stamp- no shipping- and he couldn't do that little.

Always sucks to hear stories like this, I'm helping a friend get his money back from a crooked seller on dhgate right now.

I have no problem paying as a "gift" if a seller has a good rep. As a seller, I've also requested "gift" payments (usually do, now I think it's called friends and family or something). Saves someone paying fees, and saves me from getting extra charges. It's all who you deal with, but doing blind transactions with unknowns I can definitely understand using a payment method that gives the best recourse in case the seller's not on the up and up and a "gift" payment through PP is not the best route to go in that case..
