Gauntlet "tops"

Before anyone gigs me, I have used the search tool with no success.

I have resin gauntlet tops(one with the blades and the other with the countdown), and my suit has the guantlets already but with flat tops (I hope that makes sense, I'll try to post pics later).
Any suggestions on attaching them?
This has me a little perplexed as the resin tops (especially the blade gauntlet) are hollow. So do I fill them with something then glue them, or do I use some kind of strap system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all.

I'm sure as a last resort if no one knows the "correct" way of doing it that someone can help you improvise, once you post some pics :)

hinges and magnets or pole screws and nuts

Was thinking about the screws and nuts, but wondered what to attach them to on the guantlets, trying to figure out some kind of "filler" that would stay attached to the gauntlet and be strong enough to hold the screws/nuts.

Why not foam fill them them them use heavy duty Velcro to hold them in place then you can still remove them that's what I'm going to do with mine.

Thanks I definitely like that idea. What kind of foam are you using? I have some "Great Stuff" spray foam, but wonder if it will stick to the resin once dry? Guess it will be some trial and error.

you can find these at homedepot or lowes
you will glue the fat rubber side to the flat gaunt and make holes to mount the screws in the top part. I would not fill the tops just in case you want to add lights or other stuff later.

Thanks Mortal Immortal! I actually ran into the issue last night, thank goodness before I got started with the foam. The thought hit me that if I needed to remove the blades from the gauntlet, I would have to gut the foam out to get to the screws holding them in. And, now that you mentioned the lighting options for later, especially glad I didn't get going on the foam!!!
The screws and nuts above look like a great solution, I guess I'll be at Home Depot tomorrow... again.
