Gargantia & Attack on Titan: anyone watching?

You are my hero. And I've been following your WIP's on the RWBY weapons for a couple of weeks as well. Your work on the Crescent Rose is ridiculously amazing and my main reference for when I start to make one for my friend who's going to be cosplaying as Ruby.
And speaking of RWBY, you wouldn't happen to have any reference pics for Adam's weapon, do you? :D

Thank you, I'm glad they are being of use and look forward to what you come up with. At the moment all I've got are the multitude of screenshots from just the trailer to go off of,but I'll probably do yellow's gauntlets before that.

I have all the manga's of Attack on Titan. About 10 times better than the anime.

They will take FOR EVER to bring you guys to where the manga's are... The anime is good, but extremely slow.

Isn't Gargantia one of those fan-service anime? I have zero interest in that crap. I remember wanting to watch it, did a quick google and the stuff that came up... sigh :facepalm if i'm wrong do tell me, i enjoy good anime's.

Episode 10 of Titan was ho-hum. And despite Armin's revelation regarding his role in his friendship with Mikasa and Eren, he still annoys me to no end.

Just saw Titan ep 9. I gotta say that Eren has got to have pretty serious PTSD after that stomach thing.

While there is a bit of fan service it's definitely not the prime focus of the show and what there is isn't that heavy. It's a very good show with a strong story and an interesting world. It felt a bit rushed toward the end but it did end on a pretty satisfactory note.

I don't get to see the new Titan episodes until a week after the pay members get to see them, so I'm a week behind everyone else probably. But DAMN yes when Jaeger went Titan and closed the gate with it!!!

So now I'm pretty convinced there are two humans, somewhere, in the city that are like Jaeger and are the armored and sentient Titans that have been sabotaging the town.

That's an interesting theory and it makes some sense except for motivation. What motivation would any human have for the complete extinction of the human race?

Since you're not a subscriber you're actually nearly 2 weeks behind right now, but don't worry, episode 14.5 was only a recap episode so you're only 1 episode behind as far actual story goes.

Some people are just dicks? I don't know the exact motivation, could be some religious zealot wanting to help the world end for all we know at this point.

But yeah, 14.5 was a lame episode. I could have just rewatched the last 4-5 episodes and saw everything that was in it, again.

I've been reading the mangas since the anime series debuted. It will definitely take a while for the anime to catch up to the manga going the way it has been this season. And with that:

SPOILERS:

Kerr Avon is right. The armored and colossal titan are human. Reiner is the armored one and Bertholdt is the colossal.
Both of them are from outside the walls and during the first attack that broke it, it allowed them to enter inside and infiltrate the corps. There hasn't been a reason as of yet as to why they did it and who put them up to it but I can hazard a guess that Eren's father has something to do with it. There's also a female titan that appears and it's Annie. She's from the same area outside the walls that Reiner and Bertholdt are.

Just now got to seeing episode 15 of Titan. The new opening and closing montages are so much better and we're finally getting to see, if only a brief glimpse, of things outside the walls and more on the Recon Corps as well.

If I can get it done fast enough I'm going to Anime Thon as Eren after getting the s#!t kicked outta him. *crossing fingers I'm fast enough*

Oh my god, just finished Episode 21 of "Attack on Titan" last night. That was BRUTAL. This show goes through characters so fast that I barely have time to learn their names before they're splattered all over the place!!!

It is, isn't it. We barely got to know Capt. Levi's squad before we got to see them wiped out by the female Titan. Although they were taken out pretty brutally by her they were lucky in that at least they weren't eaten, they got taken out pretty quickly and never really saw it coming. This show is probably worse on characters than even George RR Martin is in a Song of Fire and Ice aka Game of Thrones. Thinking of it, I'm surprised that any of Eron's classmates have lasted this long, obviously Mikasa & Armin are going to survive but I'm surprised that Potato Girl hasn't bought the potato farm yet nor that one guy. With the way they go through characters in this show and considering that they are now part of the Survey Corps I'm really surprised that they survived that expedition to outside the walls.

Yeah, that female Titan just had some crazy cheat codes...Yell to get eaten, poof into Survey gear, harden skin, heal select body parts...They didn't stand a chance.

I imagine that Eron could probably do a lot more in his Titan form as well but he's obviously a total newb when it comes to operating in Titan form. He doesn't seem to full control over his Titan form yet and seems to be operating largely by instinct and emotion as opposed to actively controlling it which is clearly what the person inside the female Titan is capable of doing.

Anybody know how many seasons of Attack on Titan they're planning? We're at 22 and a standard anime series is 26 and I don't see a whole lot being resolved in 4 episodes, unless they rush the ***** out of the last 4.
