I made one for my 2-year-old this past Halloween. The mask was a DP. The size was proportionate, which shows you how small the DP is. I made the rest.
The shoulder armor was cut from styrene and heat-gunned into shape. I used plastic pipe repair putty (the blue stuff at Home Depot) to sculpt the rough edges and the studs. A layer of hammered metal spray paint and then rag-on, rag-off black paint finishes the look. I was very happy with how the armor came out. The forearm armor are plastic lamp sconces with the pipe putty added. Worked quite well.
For the body, I started with a child's pumpking costume to give me the fat shape. I hot glued on the faux fur. I sweed the vinyl portion using a small t-shirt as a pattern. It snaps closed in the back.
I found a long sleeve turtle neck t-shirt and some pajama pants at a thrift shop which I dyed green, along with the smallest gloves I could find. I sewed the fingers to a shorter length. He already had the sandles, so I hot glued vinyl to the pants let to give the impression that the sandals contonued up his calves.
You can't see all the hardware used on his belt, but beside the large metal ring, there is a d-ring on his side and one one his back connected the belt & shoulder strap. I ran out of belt material so I had to make the shoulder strap out of vinyl. My only regret on the costume.
