It’s the best looking widely available offering over seen so far. The color is a bit off, but the rest of it looks solid to me.

I’ll give you the activation, I’ve yet to see anyone pull that off (though I’m sure someone has), what’s wrong with the emitter?
I thought it was supposed to be black. Is it just lighting?

I thought it was dark steel grey or black too. The emitter ‘teeth’ should be painted on the underside as well, but that’s an easy fix. I hope Shop Disney puts these on sale like they did the Leia - Luke/Ray saber set.

I mean how the activation and emitter should work together. Also there should be shinethrough on the open parts of the lower emitter.

Like so many items, they have to decide what features can go into it at what price point to make it feasible. And let's face it 94.7% of the customers will think it looks dead-on accurate to the movie. we, my friends, are in the minority.

Has anyone seen the new Rey or Leia hilts in person yet? The pictures look a bit disappointing to me. Are they better in person?

That's a neat saber but I think I'm going to wait for the Black Series version... Granted we've only had pictures so far but I kind of have a feeling that the Black Series is going to look better. And maybe it's just me, and this is nit-picky, but the gyro-sensor seems way too sensitive on the Disney one... In the video he's barely moving the hilt and it's still making the swooshing noises.

I saw them both yesterday (admittedly from off to the side, they’re doing a special queue just to see sabers) and the Leia is definitely pretty orange and the silver parts are a dull silver almost like a rattle can “aluminum”. Didn’t see the fat neck emitter adapter but I can’t imagine the pictures available have grossly failed to capture that aspect, it’s not going to be much better in person.
Rey’s looked much better in person and had a nice matte sort of gun metal look to it, definitely not as shiny as some of the first pictures made it out to be, and it remains the second most desired of the Legacy line for me (after Luke’s).

That photo is really warm, I’m curious to see the saber under more neutral lighting. I’m not saying the Leia saber is unbuyable by an means, I just think the color scheme looks a little flat especially when compared to some of the others. I feel the same way about the Temple Guard, it looks like a toy to me
