Galaxys Edge

I’ve thought about doing it for the experience and then selling the sleeves from the saber so I can make my own out of a lower profile material. I would retain the core, and maybe the switch? But could make a little bit of the money back and have a truly custom saber.

That's actually a great price for an X wing helmet. You can't buy a kit for that. I would have to redo that paint job though.

The big question is, how does it compare to the Black Series? Judging by those photos, it's not just rebranded Hasbro - the inner paneling and screws look like they're in different spots at least.

Wondering that as well, I'm going next week so I'm going to check them out.

it’s not out of the question. They seem to have a relationship with Hasbro in making a lot of park exclusive items like figures, play sets, build a figure, build a saber.

It sounds dramatic but I feel like this kind of merchandise is the first step toward freeing the land up from the hard set “canon” time period. I genuinely can’t imagine people would complain about seeing Vader and OT troopers occasionally in the land.

I know it's not perfect, but this might be the one that finally pushes me to buy a legacy saber. Curious how the staff adapter is going to work. I wonder if a large portion of the grip will actually screw off and be replaced by an intact piece that can interface with the other half of the saber.

That saber looks really nice! My only complaint is I wish that the silver didn't look so cheap, it looks like that fake silver-painted plastic you see on cheap toy lightsabers. It should be shinier...

I notice two seams on the saber, one on the lower "wrap" and one below the two black slots near the top. I'm assuming that one is probably the battery compartment, but the other might unscrew for the attachment point.

Not really much they can do in regard to the proportions due to the Legacy line's universal blade system. They should not have done an open poll for this one. 90% of the folks who voted for this incompatible design will not end up buying it. A total waste of bandwidth when there are unproduced hilt designs that would not require nearly as much compromise.

I was in the Kanan/Ezra camp. If they did Cals it should have been a locked set like Ahsoka.

side note, the saber is no longer on display at DHS as of tonight.

Looked for the Red 5 helmet and it wasn’t around. Also not sure if this is old news but they don’t have the Resistance ration kit anywhere that I can tell

The Ezra version they had in to vote would have been the worst choice because It would not have been a thin neck. They would have had to do something like Luke’s and make a switch out upper body for the blade.

If you mean boxed set, then no... they shouldn’t. I voted for the Cal, I like how it turned out, but I am not interested in the double bladed version. This buyers a choice. Ahsoka hilts are two different hilt designs so it makes more sense to offer as a set.
