Galaxys Edge

That photo is really warm, I’m curious to see the saber under more neutral lighting. I’m not saying the Leia saber is unbuyable by an means, I just think the color scheme looks a little flat especially when compared to some of the others. I feel the same way about the Temple Guard, it looks like a toy to me
That’s kind of what I thought. Also, if I got one it would always annoy me that it looks like they built a switch on the side and ignored the big obvious button to activate.

That is weird I hadn’t noticed. The Rey activation is a bummer but I can understand that the mechanics may have been too complex for a sub $200 saber. Leia’s is probably due to ease of assembly as well .

Here it is cooled down. Still looks pretty orange.

Seriously! I mean, 40 years ago the action figure was revamped because of it’s launching missile.
May as well give a kid a bazooka for that matter.

Because kids were choking on small missiles parts. Not because they were projectiles. They still sold spring projectile toys but the ensured that the projectiles were large enough not to be choking hazards and the things like tips were not separate small pieces that could come off and be a choking hazard.

I think this was more a joke ... its a rocket firing Boba Fett jetpack... the rocket firing Boba Fett was fused in place do to a safety issue. I found it funny... im sure these will not be allowed for in the park wearing ... news article "Mickey Mouse cast member suffers eye injury as Boba Fett rocket lodges in characters mouth... "

It all started with the Mattel Battlestar Galactica toys with the firing missiles in 1978 from a Viper or Cylon Raider that a child choked on. A lawsuit occurs and toy safety was enhanced. One of the reason Bic ball point pen caps have holes in the top so kids can still breath if they swallow one and changed the toy industry for ever. GC

Looks like a foam tip on the missile so I am not sure what all the panic is about.

I kept all my BSG missiles even though Mattel offered a Hot Wheels car in exchange for every missile.

Wonder how many of those D-O droid's they'll sell.
At the store I work at, that's the only toy that doesn't sell.
