I would say it is likely. They did this with Leia’s hilt. It was first introduced in a box set and then on its own. I am guessing the box plays music as the Luke/Leia and the Ahsoka hinge lid box set did.Does this mean they are going to have a Kenobi EP4 ANH FX Lightsaber out soon?
Nice!
I always wanted this lightsaber… I think I first saw it in jawatrader magazine.. wanted it ever sinceNice!
I was looking back at the old ICONS Kenobi ANH saber. For what they knew and didn't know at the time, it's actually a nice saber, too.

I still have mine along with the Luke saber and don't have any plans of getting rid of them. I just wish I had Vader's so I could have the complete set.Nice!

I first saw them at the Sharper Image store on 57th street in New York City back around '96 or '97 and loved them ever since. Of course, back then, that was all there was but for the time they were really nice.I always wanted this lightsaber… I think I first saw it in jawatrader magazine.. wanted it ever since
That’s an awesome link!! Wow!! What a blast from the pastJust think... the three ICONS sabers were the best (and only) licensed saber replicas at the time, released 1996-1998. A ROTJ Luke saber was designed but never produced. So ICONS released sabers roughly 20 years after ANH. It has now been ~25 years since the ICONS sabers were released, and they still hold up well!
Go here for great retro pics of the ICONS factory/assembly:
Even only seeing it in the box I could also see it's just a repainted EP3 saber with Graflex style details and a d-ring added (and the d-ring is in the wrong place !!)That is not the ANH saber. It's an ROTS/Kenobi series saber redressed with ANH details.

I completely agree. I think it's a nice entry level collection for the mid level fans. It will disappoint the rivet counters, but most people will love it. Especially all three sabers for that price. For all intentional purposes, that is the A New Hope hilt.. at least for the Legacy line. Only a fraction of a percent would notice that difference between a modified Revenge of the Sith version and the A New Hope version. And even a smaller fraction care.
