Hey mate, sorry I've not been back here for a bit.
That'd be great with the pics, if it's not too much. Photos from behind the mask to show the profile, and from the side and front for the neck area would be a great help. Also, one from underneath the mask too!

One completed mask/helmet ready for my son to troop in...

The mouth and chin mesh isn't the final parts - I've used scrap wall plastering trim that you put at the corners of walls to plaster over. I plan to acquire some car air filter mesh of the right type to replace; however this'll do for now...

I can now start to focus on my slightly larger sized ANH sculpt. But with the sculpt in these pics, I'd like to do an ROTJ reveal version.

I can perhaps add a vid for how I've done the Vader sculpt...I've liked doing these. As well as the ANH one I'm doing I might film myself as I start on another smaller kids sculpt from scratch...smaller scale but the methods are all the same.

I don't know if this will help, but I have a video on YouTube showing 360 degree turns of 3 different angles of the EFX ANH Vader Limited Edition helmet. It's shot with a 50mm prime lens, so it is kind of how your eye would see the mask. I know yours isn't ANH style, but the face plate should be similar.

Couple things to make clear. This mask is in ROTJ configuration. This means the larger chin vent, obviously but also the ROTJ masks are shorter in the back meaning they don't extend as far as ANH/ESB.

But outside of that this is Muir's sculpt. They molded the original mask to produce the ones for ESB and ROTJ.

Ha ha! Thanks. He's looking forward to the school superheroes costume day next week...but he'll be rolling with the superhero butt-kicking Darth Vader outfit anyway..

Yeah, they will be due for an upgrade at some point. I'll likely pick that up in one of the build episodes.
