Full Scale Speeder Bike

Oh guy... I'm on a dream!

Thanks for the praise guys. I've put countless hours in designing the parts in CAD so my mate can cut the parts on his CNC machine. These will be used at local cons for charity so if you want to have a ride these will be conventions in Queensland Australia later this year [emoji6]

This is the best use to do for those marvelous replicas :thumbsup. Respect!

Very clean work! You must be very proud. What are you using as your primary reference? They look really good!

Haha I had a dream one night I saw some thread on the internet peeps makin' lifesize speederbikes fro....... HOLY FORCE

Just keeping you Fanboys up to date. Getting closer to completion.

We are using a Sideshow 1/4 scale PF statue and pics found on the net from the studio props and some images of the original plans of the 1:1 prop.

Oh, you are skinning the frame with sheet metal.. Is that aluminium or steel?
Are you going to make the beams in the front taper?

The flat surfaces are being skinned with .25mm aluminium. The forks are tapered. Here's a pic of what they look like as of today.

The forks aren't attached as we are working on the shell.
