Hello,
My name is Jon, I am looking for a place that can do a cast of my whole head (including my face). I live around the Portland OR/SW Washington area. I would be willing to travel up to Seattle or equal distance south if need be. Does anyone know where I can get that done? How much do you think that may cost?
I would like to be able to make multiple copies of my head if possible (just in case I damage the first one). I can shave my head if that would help make things easier.
Please, any advice or information you could give me would be immensely helpful. I am looking to make or have made some protective equipment that will need to fit my head exactly.
Back story:
I have had 2 traumatic brain injuries and am still very much having problems with balance, falling over, and bumping into things.
I would like to make different types of helmets and face masks for different activities. The reason I want to make my own is because the other stuff out there is too big and bulky...I feel like a bobble head and it exaggerates the balance issues. (I will not be using them in areas or activities that require certifications, just while doing things that I need some extra protection.
Like I said, I would sincerely appreciate it. This is kind of my last hope, not sure where else to go.
Thank you,
Jon
