From the Lagoon

amazing!!! really wanna see this on you!! how comfortable is it? probably a stupid question really isn't it X-)

It's pretty comphy. There is a full wet suit underneath, so its nice and smooth. It is real heavy though.

I would so pay to see video of you emerging from the water at popular campsites and scaring unexpecting swimmers. That costume is friggin' great!

Bob! Good to see you still around... haven't seen you post in awhile. :thumbsup

Great costume! Is that something you commissioned, or did you build it yourself? I'd love to see some pics of someone wearing it, too!

I got the rubber suit off Ebay....one of those short chubby suits. I cut is apart to make it narrower and taller. Got a new head that was more accurate. I sewed it back together with picture hanging wire and then glued it to my wetsuit. Using wire was a great way to synch the suit back together while the glue dried over night. A long process! Then three days of non-stop painting. I had never worked with latex before and there was a learning curve, but once I figured it out painting was really fun! The eyes are removable for when I wear it. I am hoping to run around in it next week!

That is awesome! My 5 YO girl loves watching the MST3K of Revenge of the Creature (with the fish man < her words). For such a cheesy film I am always impressed by the quality of the Gillman suit. To create an in and out of water replica you can wear is astounding. Great work.

One questions I have, is the air source concealled on the actor, or did he just hold his breath?

I was expecting a naked Brooke Shields but this is almost as good.

Wow ! Outstanding costume ! One of my favorites. Great work !

Fantastic work, congratulations.

I posted recently about putting the beach ball creature from Dark Star together and found out they used the hands of the creature as its feet

Would you be able to provide me with a couple of your fine creations?

Tim.
