It is not the chatterer.
I have a 1:1 bust (head and complete torso) and the head is rounded like a human head.
This looks like an alien/hellraiser hybrid of some type.
This looks realllly familiar though. On the tip of my tongue, but not quite there.
Perhaps Patsmear here would know

Does not look like the Chatter to me at all, I don't see any Hellraiser in it, looks like someones interpretive sculpt of what an human-shaped Alien head would be.
Either that are a really squished Alien head:love

Definately Alien. I am not sure that it is from a movie though. Distortions did an alien head mask similar for Alien III.
There is a chance that it is an unproduced mask from one of the companies that had the Aliens license. If you notice the ripple in the forehead, it looks like where eyeholes would be cut.

Thanks Pat but as the dimensions front to back are over 16ins also the height is over 16 ins also this thing has a neck narrow which on inspection apears to have been seperated from something else i.e. roughly hacked off.I suspect this was a promo figure of some kind also it is made from 6 to 8 mm black rubber and heavy.A child would need a small head to wear this 4.5ins across neck and would need to be over 6ft to seven ft tall to be in proportion.It is similar on the link but different mouth ,neck and certainly not child 3/4 size.I have obviously found something of a mistery.However I apreciate your continued interest.The one thing I,m sure of this was never designed or produced as a wearable mask,helmet or whatever

What the sculpt looks like, to me, is from the "Aliens Colonial Marines" comic series. There was a character, in one of the latter issues, that had consumed to much Alien Hive Jelly, which acted like a stimulant that gave people short term extra ordinary reflexs/strength, but resulted in insanity and eventually mutation. This sculpt looks like the character that had mutated into an alien/human hybred.

Thanks the symptoms you describe are frightingly similar to those I experienced once or twice however I've never had hive jelly(can it be crumbled)?But short term wotsit rings a bell, I came upstairs for something sitting on the bed now what was it? :confused
