FREE Lost Paper Prop

Well, i was lookin' around at some "Lost" screen grabs that someone had posted and thought i'd attempt one of the props.

Now, i'm still quite new to "Lost" (Been watching it for about a month) but thought i'd give it ago anyway. I know it's not perfect, there are a few things i'd change.

Wasn't sure if anyone had made this one either.

Here it is...

Tell me what you think?

EDIT:

If anyone has any other screen grabs of props like this from "LOST" i'd love to give it ago.

Thanks for making the font Cmdr.Kerner, it was a huge help to have it for the logo. Hope you don't mind me using it.

Gonna take a look at your gallery now.

Hi Neil,

no not at all, that was the purpose of my upload on dafont. So far my 3 fonts have been downloaded more than 150.000 !!!!!!!!! times.

Enjoy

Cmdr.Kerner

Congratulations on that:thumbsup

There are a few things i'll change on the card i think. A couple of little things bugging me, lol.

The text at the top is a bit too large i think and the numbers at the bottom are off aswell.

Hi Neil,

thanks. For the words "Swan Station 3" I would choose a bold font, I used "AgentConMedDB". Which software do you use to create your artwork?

My one is made with CorelDraw 12 and if I find an ID card I vectorize the image with CorelTrace, import the file into Draw and with the help of the perspective tool I create a "squared" version of it and redraw the card.

So long

I found a "close enough" Moriah Vineyards label to at least get me started on one that's more screen accurate once I get Illustrator up and running again.

My real search at the moment is for a MacCutcheon whisky label. I'm afraid that's far beyond my skill level at present though.

Great work both of you.

Dietrich: the videotape format is Umatic (3/4" wide). 1st cassette format; hour-long maximum capacity; introduced in 1972; still kicking around TV stations even today- it will never die!

If you or anyone else wants either a 10 min; 1/2 hour or 1 hour cassette in box (hard to tell length, just large size cassette) LMK. We still have lots around the station. You'd just pay for shipping.

And LMK what color the cassette & box are- I don't have framegrabs handy.

Hi mgoob,

thanks for the compliments. A VHS tape in a box was a lot easier to get than U-Matic and I think I can live with it.

And thanks for the offer.

So long and don't get LOST

Thanks Larry,

since last week I've got a Dharma Initiative T-shirt simply saying "Dharma Initiative T-Shirt". If you or someone else like more files from LOST, don't hesitate to drop me a line, I've got plenty of stuff on my PC (incl. the DriveShaft CD cover and much more).

Thats very kind of you Dietrich. I'm still quite new to Lost myself, so haven't seen anything to do with Dharma yet, no spoilers please, lol.
