I'm posting this as a warning. The seller is not being honest. In fact he's downright lying.

He states it was a one of a kind item made for him. Alot of us know the history on this knife. Just a warning to stay away from the auction. It might be Frank himself still lying. The seller is niceastuff and he's in New York. Suprise, suprise.

In fact if you look at his selling history, you'll see he's into magic. Definately Frank.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:
"This was custom made for me a number of years ago I don't want to remember what it cost me but it was expensive. This Klingon Knife weighs in at almost 5 lbs and field strips like a gun. The blades are stainless Steel and the handle is made from a block of polished of Aircraft aluminium. This was custom made for me by a Knife maker and there is no duplicate anywhere. The push button mechanism which activates the blades opening took 4 weeks to design. It is a beautiful piece of tooling, and will last a bunch of lifetimes. If you had to commision someone today to design this Knife and make it for you it would cost at least 10,000.00 if not more. It is aprox 17" to 18" long, more like a sword than a knife that opens at the push of a button. Grab it while you can."

There's even a finger missing from the person who is holding it ;) Kinda clues you in doesn't it?

Just so we can build a case against this guy. Who else besides myself ownes or used to own one of these?

Yep, it's Frank alright. He responded to me with this:
First of all this is the first one ever made. it is number one out of my company. I know because I made them for Frank Virga. I own the tool and Dye machine shop company on Long Island that Frank used to to have them made it in. It is one of a kind because the knife has a different mechanical configuration inside than the other 134 that I made. It is also slightly larger I do not lie. You should get your facts straight before you go shooting your mouth off. Who are you do I know you
or are you afraid to give your real name I know allot of people in Star Trek, and by the way how much would you sell yours for if you wanted to sell it??? I think you won't sell yours because you know what you have.

So I wrote him back calling him on it and that he IS Frank Virga. Here's his response:
"Sorry we do not respond to crank emails. The facta on this item are true. Please do not harass this ebay box again."

Since I can't find details via search, what happened with Virga and what case would you file? Did ppl get fingers cut off? ("There's even a finger missing from the person who is holding it".)

Personally I think its a crap looking prop. I'd buy one of those cheap copies you find at knife stores in the mall before I bought that.

Yeah, he was always partial to that "strips like a gun" phrase too. :lol

weasle...

I don't have a bone in this but what
I think is funny is he should be " nicer " to
people who ask him questions !

Putting STAR TREK and KLINGON on
his auction can get him a nice fat VERO ! :rolleyes

Not that anyone would DO that to poor Fraink...

:lol

I own one of Frank's Knives.

When he sold it to me, he told me some cock & bull story of his Dad and an Aerospace Precision Machine Shop and a bunch of engineers. LOL

Good ole Frank.
Now there's a name I have not heard in a long time,...a long time.
:p
That auction seems to be pulled BTW.

As I recall FV was the guy that stalked Jhyphen and a few others, sending them and their jobs all kinds of crap about them being child molesters. John then got him arrested and charged, to which he pled guilty a few years ago.

Ahhh the good old days.....

It was Frank as that knife has been mentioned here in the past few weeks different auction though

I know he was banned from the Internet for awhile iirc.

I always knew he would be back as he is a complete Moron!

The article sadly ends with late 1999, before sentencing. I want to know what happened. A fire burns for the injustices done the collectors.

I think actually he was punished more for the spamming and Internet stalking than what he did to the collectors.

I know I myself tried to talk a lot of people out of buying some of his "Screen-used" pieces back in the early 90's some heeded my advice, some did'nt. :unsure

Yep, gone now. But since I've never seen a replica of the Klingon knife in the detail you described, are there at least pics of it somewhere we can look at?
