I just got this from our local Denver Sci-Fi convention promoters...

Looking For Aliens and Predators
Fox Studio is looking to shake-up shoppers

I've been contacted by Twentieth Century Fox Studios to try and find people who would like to wear Alien or Predator suits (with Santa Embelishment) for a promotion here in Denver for the upcoming movie Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.

I know some of our readers have costumes. If you are interested (and there will be perks) let me know.

I am sure there are other promotions locally in your area. Watch out for them. There is usally a sneak preview as well. Many radio promtions and such will be giving away tickets and sometimes present these films earlier.

Not may opportunities to be a part of an event, so this can be a biggie! However, I did state that I dodn't want any santa embelishment...

I don't have a suit but I am willing to stab people and possibly throw acid on them in return for promotional items and maybe a prop used in the movie. I hope that's not too much to ask, let me know. thnx.

Umm.....if it's 20th Century Fox who is the one requesting us for costuming, we pretty much have to wear Santa stuff if that's what they want. They OWN Predator and any related likenesses, essentially.

You are probably right, and I may have to suck it up for the team. Still awaiting confirmations on these things, but I just don't want it to get too far out of hand. What worried me was the picture that came with the proposal...

Could me a little wierd for an "R" movie. I know it is Christmas but seriously. We'll see...

Gene i think if FOX wanted to do that i guess they should do that @ the con, imo where a lot of CRAZIMODAFACRS like me show up in costume ....Imagine how many ppl will they get with the Copyright Infrigement? Who knows? Anyway i will be wearing my suit on xmas and going to the theater. Ceasar.

No confirmation, yet, but a lot of interest from people who DON'T have constumes and are willing to do WHATEVER for the promotions and perks. I think they fell that a santa-embelished costume may be provided (Rubies perhaps?) and that all they have to do is show up. If that is the case, I will show up on my realistic version and show them up.

If you do Kurt, please get some some photos of yourself. Forget if it's cheesy or not. It's all in good fun, and I'd love to have a couple of photos of a pred suit with a santa hat on or maybe a full getup? Let us not forget the song of our dear Preddy Claws..."deck the halls with skulls of oomans...!"
