found website with free 3D file of best looking Iron Man MK 3 helmet

I found a website that host a free download of a 3D file of one of the best looking Iron Man MK 3 helmet I have seen.

Is it "OK" if I post the website link to download the free Iron Man MK 3 3D file here?

The 3D file is in "Solidworks" format.

Is it possible for some kind souls to convert it to .OBJ (Maya) format ?

Please advice?

you can open it with maya, just import

EDIT: well, you should be able to, but it seems that there is something strange with this file

well thats most certainly not the most accurate iron man model out there, seeing as some people have the actual movie files. it has quite some wrong stuff, but it does look ok. maybe i will try converting it tomorrow if noone has done it by then

its a great file but the mesh is a mess like all Solidwork files

Converted the .sldprt to .obj via 3ds Max - yes, the mesh is a mess. No, I havent done anything to change this.... this is a straight through .sldprt -> .obj conversion - do with it what you will

I have also dropped a link in there to the Pepakura Designer .pdo file that I made to test that the import worked properly...

This model is close to the movie one the dimensions at least are too close
