Found parts lightsaber - real workman-like style

I am thinking about making a proto-saber or a lightsaber that is very working class, if that makes sense.
Of course, more like the OT sabers - found parts, wires and screws, etc. Not looking all tech-advanced.

Anyone build something like this ?

I found this lightsaber in a cave, about 7000 years ago.
There is a clan stamp on activator, so it's probably from the hundred years darkness period, meaning, it's a protosaber, it can explain why there are no energy cell on bottom.
The crystal chamber is very large, sadly the crystal is missing.
The cyclic field is also very big, with a rotating piece still moving, visible through the strongly weathered body.
All the neck and head are the emitter and the small round symbol is probably the switch, but I think the switch was probably on the energy cell, but this part is missing.
I found it about 3 years ago.
I have to go back there a do more diggings to find the rear part and crystal, and maybe energy cell, would be great!
