Been a fan of Fortnite BR ever since it came out, So I decided to build my favourite harvesting tool from the game.

Started by making a cheap cardboard version as a test

I used that to create the pattern which I traced onto 6mm EVA foam

Glued the edges together using contact cement. attached craft foam details with hot glue

Scored in some details with a small blade and used a heat gun to open them up. Made the horn out of translucent foam as I wanted it to light up.

Using the top of an old pill bottle I was able to make the horn screw on and off for changing the battery.

After coating with Flexbond I used some blue and pink spray paint

And then I painted all the rest of the details with acrylic paints. I used gold pigment powder to give the horn the shine

In the game the eyes always follow you in a creepy way. I really wanted this feature so I pushed the eyes in, giving the illusion that it's always staring at you

This was a really fun build to do. Was the first prop I've worked on in a long time and I'm excited to get back into it

Nice build! Small detail, I believe the wheels on the bottom are supposed to be rotated a quarter. Imagine them being rollerskate wheels and you are using the thing as a toy horse to ride on, the wheels would roll along the floor.

Yeah I noticed that after I took the pictures. The head can be removed from the pole and it wasn't tightened all the way :lol
Here is it in its proper position

How did you light up the horn?
Horn is made from Translucent Plastazote foam instead of EVA and coloured it really lightly so the light would shine through better.
then I just soldered different coloured LEDs together in a rainbow pattern and shoved it inside. switch is hidden on the underside
