Forbidden Planet Rifle

Finally got around to building up my Forbidden Planet Rifle from nick'sdad.

The originals had painted bodies, but the kit had a nice all aluminum tube, butt, and nozzle so I polished them up.

Plenty of room to mount a bright 2 D cel LED flashlight:

All that light is coming from a flashlight? Looks nice, not a bright spot with a huge dropoff, like I would expect.

It's a wicked bright flashlight, I have a pic of it installed I'll see if I can find it. I think the "accordion" clear sheet inside the tube helped a bunch.
