Hey-
So, not sure if you remember this: Forum | Runboard but I've made some progress on what I'm deeming ,'2.0'.
I wanted the suit to look like it was fabric, with armor underneath, but found that the fabric wasn't moving the way I wanted it to. In the end, I bowed to the segmented-plates/armored look, but couldn't drop the gray fabric I loved so much. Here's my compromise. It's sort of a Frankenstein of New 52/BB/TDK/Snake Eyes from Retaliation (thanks to some templates I purchased from Blackaos on RPF)/Arkham Origins. In fact, when the pics came out for the new AO suit, my wife screamed, "HOLY CRAP, THAT'S YOUR BATSUIT!!!" The cowl's not shown cause I couldn't decide how I wanted to go with it. I wound up buying the CODE cowl from reevzfx.

New 52 knee caps. Made them out of some actual knee caps (after some major altering) and Super 77'ed my fabric on it. That's what I did for all the suit armor, by the way...

The belt I bought of of IMZ. It's a military surplus store online. Canisters are travel toothbrush holders I cut down to shape, Plastidipped, and zip-tied to the belt. Buckle is an iPod touch easel case, also Plastidipped to match the canisters.

The 'gaunts are the police glove/ladies boot method. Piece of youth shin armor INSIDE fills it out very wellFoamies, Plastidipped fins.

Boots are Gotham 100's. Added in a fiberglass plate to flatten out the front. Very nice. No pics.
The diaphram.

The way the cape sits on my shoulder. I know that not a lot of people like the 'horned' look, but this is less horn, more exaggerated fold-over.

Please give critizism where you feel necessary!

Finished the cape the other day. Not sure how well you can see, but the cape has thumbs. Found the cape pattern here and did some augmenting to it.
