After watching the lastest Tron film, was totaly blown away with the architecture in the film, being a that I work as an architect I loved the idea of the director being an architect himself and how he put his own design ideas into the sets and visual look of the film.

I received today some technical mag's at our design practice in the post, after quick flicking through these mag's I came across an small write up regarding Flyns house from the new Tron movie.

Below is a link to some photo's of the house and the company's who helped supply the materials in the production of the set - might be useful if your deciding to design your own Tron room or house?

Tour of the exhibit - ?TRON designs CORIAN®?

time to design my own Flyn house me thinks :love

Hey Neil,

thanks for sharing !!!

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of information on the architecture in the "Art of Tron:Legacy" book, still need to see more about this.

Interesting to see that DuPont is making such an effort, the costs for the exhibit must be quite high.

The layout of his safe house kind of reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright's stuff, especially the large balcony windows. For some reason that reminded me of Falling Water here in PA.

I liked Kevin Flynn's home, especially with the addition of the meditation pool and as someone else mentioned the giant balcony windows. It is fantastic to see someone else has a huge interest in bringing this to life.

A member here from Beijing had posted his room, which he totally turned into the safehouse style of Tron, have you seen that?

at one point there was some furniture up on the Los Angeles craigslist for sale from the film. Think some of it ended up being given away.
