Floating Energy prop?

so I've seen them around and I've managed to make an ehhh....okay ish one utilizing wire, thought about maybe using clear elastic as well.

any advice?

I saw some people using a clear worbla and kind of making a band out of it, but I'd have no idea what thickness to purchase for it. The prop I'm making itself is fairly light and only about 4 inches large.

I already searched for some threads on here but most of them came up dry.
