Flight of the Navigator Trimaxion Drone Ship

The sleek version is more badass than I initially thought. It would be cool to have an "open" version with steps to display, but that's a whole other can of worms.

My print so far looking forward to sanding thankyou matt painter

For everyone interested in Flight of the Navigator VFX, as all of you in this thread no doubt are, Captain Disillusion made a new video recently going over the incredible effects made for the movie. He apparently also owns one of the original effects models and has an accurate CGI model of the ship! Very cool video and worth the time to watch it:

That VFXcool video was what reawakened my love for this movie (I watched it on repeat when it came out on VHS, and recorded the soundtrack to cassette tape). I found this forum, downloaded and printed Matte Painter's amazing model, and am eagerly awaiting any updates as well as the first class maneuver ship.

I'm also pretty jealous of the original ship casting, but the model Matte Painter has created is pretty dang good.
