Hi everyone,

We're getting really close to completion now! Some modifications have been made to the rocket launcher tubes and the center console has now been added so we can get a better idea of how the finished model will look. Additional details have been molded and cast. Just got to do the details at the rear of the cycle and the boat shaped hull to the underside.

The cross section build really turned out great, first time I've seen pictures of that method.

I think it's fine actually. The overlay you've done is a different focal length and angle. The sketch-up model which SteveStarkiller did matches up extremely well to the side view screen grab from the movie so I think the differences you're seeing in your overlay are all due to different angles / distance of camera to model / size of lens etc.

When I get the model in hand, I will attempt to match it up to screen grabs etc to show how close we got it.

Hi everyone,

A very exciting update on this project today. Pete SSS just sent me these pics of the completed main cycle!!! This will be molded next week.
The curved underside and engines are also ready (but not shown in these pics). All that's left to do is the bar and "butt rest" which Flash leans against and the disc detail at the rear of the cycle.

My 30 year old dream is almost a reality thanks to Pete's great work!

Kits of this will be available so PM me if you're interested and I'll start an interest thread in the Junkyard when we're nearly ready to make them.
