Great build! But I always wondered, if all of the Hawkmen could fly, why would they need a rocket cycle?

Think of it as a wheelchair maybe. They get the best parking spots at the floating palace too.

This is really looking great! I always wondered as a kid why they never made Toys of the Characters and a Rocketcycle, it was a big movie at the time it was in theaters!

Hi guys,
Here's another progress pic of the cycle. Pete SSS has constructed the main center console and Flash is standing in place to give an idea of scale (the Flash figure is 7 inches tall).

Pete SSS has been on vacation for 2 weeks but here's the latest pics he sent me just prior to his vacation. Should be full steam ahead with the build again this week - not long before he's ready to start adding all the rivets to the plates!
We noticed that the angle / placement of the panels needed correcting on the front of the cycle so that's why the front looks a little messy with filler etc at the moment. It will all be smoothed out before molding though.
Pete put a lot of work into the sides and the rear of the cycle and we're very happy with where it's at now.

yes they are 1/6th scale and great. Think MEGO . speaking of, put an Aquaman figure on it next.

Actually, the Big Bang Pow figure shown in my pics is 7 inches tall (which works out to be approx 1/11th scale). Bif Bang Pow also did the "MEGO" version which is about 8-9 inches tall, but neither of them are 1/6th scale (which would be a 12 inch tall figure).

After weeks of VERY hard work - Pete has got the rocket cycle to a beautiful primered state now. Still some tweaks to make (and the handlebar console was not stuck on for these pics). I think you'll agree he's done an amazing job with this extremely difficult geometric nightmare!

There doesn't seem to be much interest here but I'll start a thread in the Junkyard anyway once I know what the final price of kits / finished build-ups will be. We'll be selling a small number of kits (and I'm excited to say that Alex Ross wants one for his own collection).
