First prop build - help!!

Hi guys, I'm new here. I rather like the look of The Master's laser scredriver, and want to make it, so does anyone have dimensions/drawings/hints/tips/jammy dodgers for me?

I do accept bow ties as well. Bow ties are cool.

Well, I know there was a replica made o' the Master's laser screwdriver...

Turned this up on a quick web search.

Might make for good reference photos. A bit of digging might give you dimensions...

Can I just say, that is the most helpful post I have ever seen. All that's missing now is how the internal mechanism works!

Thankls guys, went off chasing other projects but I'm back now. Might start with something slightly more simple to build than the sonic and will hopefully end up as a christmas present to someone
