So after filling in the divot at the front of the hatch and cutting off the very toy like hinge and replacing it with more appropriate detail, I finally got around to painting...

It's so hard to get good pics of it, especially with the subtle shading and metallic sheen but...

Love these! I just picked up a Silencer because it was $5 at Bargain hunt. Need to get some of the Bandai FO Ties too

Are you planning to tint the cockpit glass red? On the 1/144 FO Ties, I had success with Vallejo's transparent red

As far as the cockpit tint, I was going to but decided against it. I kind of prefer it without the tint, plus I had already closed it up by the time I realized a lot of the reference pics had the red tint
