First Look at Predalien in AvP2 Movie

Seems pretty nice in fact :) Just thought i would share it with you all.

RopeofSilicon.com is reporting they found a maquette on 3D Custom Foam of the Predalien - or "Hybrid" - in the AVP2 movie. Sweet, really? Well, they have pics, man :

Wow. It might not be as sexy as a full-on Predator, but it'll still give you a pretty magnificent boner. We'll work to confirm this. Thanks to Phillip Knapp for the tip!

not "sexy" at all. My biggest beef is that there's not enough predator in that mixture, looks like only about 10%, if that. Sorry, I giving it one thumb down.

It looks like a very demonic chocolate bunny. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks good, but at teh same time looks like a fan's own idea. I hope the dome turns into a bio-helm

I'm just glad they left off the hanging dredlocks. Because to me that just looks stupid. If we go by the other Alien films, all that's duplicated from the host is what's necessary for survival. The dredlocks are not. They're just a visual que to the rest of us that it came from a Predator. The only thing that it should bring over from the Predator is it's mouth configuration. That's it. No long flowing dredlocks please. That's like saying a human host that had a goatee is impregnated and the Alien has some sort of chin growth because it's host had it. LAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMEEEEEEE!!!!

There's nothing smooth nor sexy about that design (then again there's nothing smooth or sexy about the aliens that come from people). Which I think "might" work. The alien from the original was 7 ft. So it's only natural that the Pred-alien is a little bigger than it's host. Anything other than that is unnecessary. That
includes hanging dredlocks.
 
im lovin' it...........looks mean,looks like a monster,not overdone at all.........the mouth is not too big,not too small,..........
im lovin the details on its back.nice to see a few less spikes rather than the usually overdone alien type back configuration.
roll on AVP2............its gonna be great !! :)
 
10% Predator is just about enough... I personally really like this design, although this is in no way going to be in AVP2 in this form...
 
Nice comments all, but IMO, this is sexy :)

Meh, why would it have a bio instead of the dome. Preds are not born with bio's. A little chestburster aint going to burst out with a bio on it...

just my opinion lol. NO BIO!

I really like that design! No hanging dreads, the way they are swooped back as an integral part of the head works for me. The mouth configuration looks wicked as do the added spiky bits that I guess resemble Pred quills. It has not been overdone and as others have said 10% Pred is about right. It's an Alien and no mistake and yet it's obvious to all that it's host was a Pred. :)
Let's hope that it makes it into the movie in this form, but then again I doubt it. :)
 
Just a heads up that's not what it looks like... what you are looking at is a studio's mockup maquette they were proposing to ADI, but ADI did not go with this design and made their own version. I've seen ADI's version and while there are some similarities, the ADI one looks cooler and way more menacing. It's better than the one planetavp reported on.

So, what do you all think is going to happen with this Predalien? I mean, the only way it could end up back on earth a couple years after the first movie is that the baby that popped out of the Pred's chest at the end of AVP ended up killing every Yautja on that ship before it could leave orbit or they found it and shot it out the airlock instead of killing it. Either way seems improbable, so I'm curious how they're going to explain it.

It's not a couple years alter it's right away. The predalien that pops out of scar's chest matures rapidly and kills everything in sight and crashes the ship. It survives along with some eggs that were on the ship and all **** breaks loose. Predator sociecty sends in a cleaner pred to kill the aliens and cover up the mess.
