Yes me too that's why I picked the boar. Also because its a cool looking. And it is unfolded into 165 parts, so not as many as some but, not so few it has less detail to it.

OK so im almost finished with the pep and i scaled it wrong it it huge looking im 6'2" anyone know what size it should be roughly?

Ok thanks mins about 11 1/2 wide and 18 nose to back but it think the boar is a bit longs than most but im not sure ill have it finshed tomorrow and have new pics up

I wanted it as a display but as close to the size for it to be woren on an under mask but i think i jumped the gun and should have started with the under mask first
As soon as i git it done ill post picks with a ruler next to it
was planning on haveing it done today but my stomach had other plans been sick all day

What about support sticks(wood or plastic)? its a big model, when you start resining it can deform angles.

I agree with Jmen. You may want to temporarily hot glue some supports inside the mask to retain shape. Once you get a couple coats brushed on inside and out, you can remove the supports without worrying if it'll warp or sag.

I use tongue depressors and crafty sticks. Even the ones that are segmented as they can be easily customized into smaller bits.

Hot glue is a baaaaad choice, molten hot glue + card + fingers is always going to lead to pain. Hot glue is fine for foam, but for card, there is just not enough material between fingers and the glue. For pepping a regular multi purpose glue or a paper glue works fine. Hot glue also dries too thick and is too rubbery. Also, when resin is curing it produces heat heat softens hot glue, this can lead to imperfections.

yes i had about ten supports on the inside of it i forgot to take picks of it. It is out side curing right now i just put the 2nd coat on the inside, and yes hot glue not the best thing to use i had one spot open up but i fixed it in time thank goodness for gloves lol
