Hey! Long time lurker. Purhaser. Finally brave enough to sculpt something and post it. Haha.
Figured I would start with my favorite character. I collect Nihilus masks and troop in the costume with the 501st.
Started with mapping it out in green tape (pardon the mess, I have a 2 year old)

Then used Apoxie Sculpt and got to work

Did some hand smoothing and more shaping

Reshaped some more and did a wet 120 sand to get it where I wanted. I left chips here and there that will get a black pigment wash for depth like around the eye sockets and the edges. I wanted evil without scowly

Decided to make the forehead adornment out of some left over leather and tooled down the edge for the raised part. Took some mdf and hand shaped the oval jewels. Still need to make the 3 balls on each side at the top. Probably tomorrow. One more wet sand tomorrow and then attach the adornment permanantly. Hoping to silicone and get a slush cast made by this weekend!

Sorry if I rambled. Nervous posting for critique. Thanks for looking!
