Well guys n gals here's another one I start. Its going to be the Mark VII Darksides501 v1 files i dont have the v2...:(
Will also be using omarbou1 v2 files..thanks..
Well its my first cardboard build ..it doesnt look that bad i can hopefully fix the mistakesi made. i've never made anyfoam files but by the videos ive seen you use the foam to build up a layer and adjust the thickness. In cardboard its different because you can only go a certain thickness depending on the cardboard..i had to go and search for the pieces that would make it esier for me to fix instaed of putting double cardboard..well im rambling on and on..
Here's the first piece ..let me know what you think? Good, fair, ok, stick to cardstock?lol

Love seeing scale model builds for kids! Very cool! :)

P.S. I'm a big fan of your full-scale WM build. Great work on that so far - can't wait to see it finished!

Darkside's chest/back files don't quite meet at the neck. take a look at some reference images, you'll have to freehand a few bits. Looks fantastic so far though :)

Looking fantastic man! :) the little dude must be stoked!

Cheers for the scaling, did you use the same for the back?

Yes i used the same scale for front and back..

Well i gave it two coats of resin outside...then one thick coat on inside...depends how it turns out ..i might not add fiberglass... It was hard the first coat i made..iwont know until tomorrow til it dries...I'm thinking it will be fine for my son...its not a huge piece...
