This is some of the progress I have made on my first model build that I have had on the "back burner" for almost a year now. Even though its nowhere near professional quality, Im pretty happy with it so far.

Working on the exact same model myself although I'm lighting it so it's taking forever. You're missing a piece on the bottom though (the bar that goes along the neck).

What colour green is that?

Thats correct haha. the bottom of the neck is painted a different color. I dont have the pictures posted yet. but I added that bar onto the model after I painted that section so I wouldnt have to reach under it with a brush.

Its just the color of the plastic. The base coats a medium green I think. Ill have to post pictures of the progress I made. :love

What are you using for the armature?

Not sure what its made of..aluminum? But its just the stand that came with the kit..

If you want to light the ship, try to use some of the car accessory LEDs.
That's handy to use :lol.
