First "Brave" Teaser

Very cool, but it felt a bit like they were taking a bit from Tangled. I'm sure it will be different though.

If it was Robert Carlyle, he's doing a much deeper accent than before, though he rolled some of his letters the same way. Don't think it's him though.

Not sure on this one, kinda sounds like How To Train Your Dragon.

Looks very good and I am looking forward to a Pixar movie that is no longer based on anthropomorphic inanimate objects!

The animation and scenery looks great. The character herself looks alot like Caroline minus the red hair though!

I look forward to anything Pixar, and even when I'm not blown away by their trailers, the movies always deliver (some more than others, but still).

I'm a little put off by the character design (Cabbage Patch Kids, anyone?) but see above.

Larry FTW!

That trailer really didn't give you much of an idea about the story itself... is there more I should know about this movie?

Didn't sound like Craig Ferguson to me. Just a deep scottish accent.

I'm intrigued though. Should be good considering it's from Pixar.

From Wikipedia:

Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

Kinda nebulous, but it looks good.

Yeah, while knowing so little about it, I'm pretty psyched about this. It'll be cool to see Pixar tackle something a little different than what they've done in the past. Having two little girls, I've seen Tangled quite a few times and honestly rather enjoyed it.

I keep playing the trailer just to hear Mckidd's voice. I love me some scottish accents. :lol It almost looked like something out of a Legend of Zelda game, looking forward to this one for sure.

I'm astounded that Jewel hasn't been here to post that
this is a long overdue film for the Pixar Patriarchy to have
made. :lol
