First Armor Build: TFA Tie Pilot from Pepakura

Recently finished my first armor build; the First Order Tie Pilot! The helmet, chest armor, pauldrons, bracers, and belt pieces were all made from pepakura patterns, fiberglass, and bondo. I purchased the chest boxes as a kit from Jaime Tripon along with a few other bits including the hose connector tips on the helmet. I sewed the jumpsuit to look like the hot toys model because I didn't really care to wear a bunch of leather in Hotlanta haha. Cosplanner puts it at 354 hours of work over 7 months and 17 days. There are some upgrades I'm planning for Celebration in Orlando but I'm pretty proud of what I've made. It was a lot of fun boppin' around Dragon Con with my friends as a Star Wars group.
