Anyone recommend a good vellum paper that'll work with an inkjet?

donsolo, what were the final dimensions when you printed those bills. The high res scan from prop circle isn't the same proportions as the other bills on this thread. Is it squished, or what?

I gave up on that one. Tried three different brands from three different places. None worked in my Epson even when told 'Oh yes this stuff will work in an inkjet.... but we've never actually tried it'.

The "face" was identified on propcircle I believe, as part of a bill from another country, I'd have to look up which one. I collected originals of all the source bills used which I indended to used to make high res versions of the series bills since scans from the book would yield fuzzy results.

Hey dr_s, what bills were created using the Jamaica bills?

Well I picked up some inkjet vellum yesterday from Staples, the store brand stuff, and it worked great on my HP inkjet. Printed up 80 bills, about half done trimming them. I'll be sure to post pictures when I'm done.

Cool! I'd definitely like to see how they look as I am planning on printing some bills over the holidays and have been debating on what type of paper I want to use and if I want to print them at home on my inkjet or go to kinkos! I'd prefer to do it at home to save some $$.

It's Staples vellum inkjet - white 50 sheets 8.5" x 11" 29 lb; item# 496755. UPC is 71810304233.

Here's some quick, kinda crappy photos with flash. Haven't flattened the bills out yet, they sort of curled when I trimmed them.

Those bills look great! :thumbsup
Thanks for the product info! I guess I'll be making a run to staples today! :love

I bought some see thru vellum at Office Depot last week, been waiting to print some of these out on the color laser at work. Have we agreed on the dimensions of the TV bills?

The green and yellow $20 bills are 15.9 cm x 10.9 cm. That's with the white border. Measurements taken off a screen used bill.

When you tack on a roughly 1/8" border that matches up with the bills being 15.25 cm x 10.25 cm not counting the border :)
